Me cosplaying as Ulquiorra from Bleach on the sunday of the MCM expo in October 2008

To this day I am still not quite sure why i picked Ulquiorra to cosplay. I was asked to be a part of darrins Espada group and jumped on at the idea pretty quickly! Since most of my costume are generally much more complicated, I think I cosplayed him for the character rather than the costume!

I thing that amuses me the most about Ulquiorra is his "emo tears" and I had alot of fun re-enacting "Ulquiorra creepy pointing" all day on sunday and I am sure I scared alot of small children.

Something random from wikipedia:

His name is possibly a reference to "El Que Llora" in Spanish, meaning "he who cries."

There are a few more things I want to do to this costume before I wear it again, Namely buy a makeup sealer, so I do not leech white everywhere!

Costume Trivia: I takes me two hours to do the makeup for ulquiorra and 1 hour to take it all Off, And after I have taken all the white off, the sillouette of the emo tears still remains! >_<

but his second form was cooler, visual kei style.

You've been great!! You're a make-up pro, it should have been incredibly difficult!!! Compliments!
But... if I can give you my 2 cent thoughts... maybe, next time, you could keep the make-up a bit lighter. I mean, as I've already said, you have an astounding ability, that I highly admire and envy

, but, when a friend of mine greatly cosplayed Ulquiorra, I noted that the best thing about her was that seemed "real", as the character had come out from the manga. She wore less white painting, and she had choosed a few of distinctive features (eye, eyebrow, upper lip) to stress. And I think the result was brilliant.
I'm sorry if I had been a nuisance or I've bothered you; I only wanted to express a little advice, but I know that opinions can be very different. ^^ So, in conclusion, I pay you my compliments, as usual, for this and your other great cosplays!
